Sharon Thompson

Located in North Carolina, Sharon founded the practice that became the Sharon Thompson Law Group in 1976. She is a seasoned family lawyer and  accomplished practitioner in all aspects of estate planning and probate administration, including elder law. She has also taught at both the UNC-CH and North Carolina Central Schools of Law.

A respected problem-solver and negotiator, Sharon was voted 16th most effective during her two terms as a legislator in the North Carolina House of Representatives (1987-1990).    

She was the recipient of the North Carolina Association of Women Attorneys Annual Award in 1987, the Planned Parenthood of Raleigh Margaret Sanger Award in 1990, North Carolina AFL-CIO Legislative Award in 1992 and the ACLU-North Carolina Frank Porter Graham Award in 2007. Sharon was a co-founder of the North Carolina Association of Women Attorneys and has served as counsel for various non-profit organizations.

Her practice includes estate planning and probate administration and many areas of family law including surrogacy.

 

 

Allison Amadia

Located in California, Allison Amadia has first hand experience with infertility.  Here she is pictured with her daughter, one of boy/girl twins she conceived on her third IVF cycle.

Connie J. Vetter

Sara M. Clay

Located in Georgia, Sara began her practice in Marietta in1990 when she received her law degree from the University of Georgia. She began work at the law firm presently known as Moore, Ingram, Johnson and Steele, with an emphasis on business and real estate litigation, as well as family law. In 1995, she began work with the Cobb County Superior Court as a Judicial Clerk to The Honorable James G. Bodiford, where she worked on a number of civil litigation matters, including First Amendment cases, class action matters, personal injury, domestic cases and adoption work. Additionally, she actively worked on criminal matters including death penalty cases.

Following the birth of her second child in 1999, she shifted her focus to her own family. In 2003, she returned to the practice of law, assuming the ongoing surrogacy practice of Mark A. Johnson, P.C. Her practice now is exclusively in the areas of surrogacy and related infertility issues, including donor cases. She has twice been asked to speak at the annual conference of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine.
