If you are an Intended Parent who would like the benefit of agency assistance without higher agency fees and, once matched, would like to work independently with your surrogate (no agency involvement), we have an exciting service especially for you!

There are many wonderful surrogates seeking a couple/individual to work with but are somewhat apprehensive about finding their Intended Parent(s) on their own. Often times, these wonderful, quality women are attracted to agencies for the peace of mind it brings them in knowing an experienced third party is involved. Many of these surrogates are quite comfortable working independently with their couple, but like having the security of having a third party to perform background checks, etc.

In the past, we have advertised for couples/individuals seeking a surrogate and the response has always been incredible! Each situation is unique, and the more flexible the Intended Parent(s) are the more overwhelming the response tends to be, but typically our couples find their surrogate within eight weeks.

While this avenue means you will not have the agency assisting you once you are officially matched, it does provide you with the following invaluable services, all of which save you time, money, and offer enormous protection.

~Services~

(1) Locate appropriate surrogates~ Using the information provided to us by you, the Intended Parents, we put together a list of suitable surrogates to present to you. If we do not already have any in our database who match your needs, we advertise on your behalf. We are quite experienced/skilled in advertising and know how to attract quality surrogates. Surrogates derive satisfaction in fact that we have knowledge regarding the couple we are advertising for. They value this third party input regarding the potential couple as this enables them to have accurate information about the couple and more safety in the process.

(2)  Obtaining full profile on surrogate~ This profile contains information related to the surrogates medical history, previous surrogacies (if any) and overall personality.

(3) Criminal background searches on every party ~  Criminal history searches are performed on both Intended Parents as well as the Surrogate (and her spouse, if married). By doing this, you are given the obvious benefit of knowing you are not working with someone who could have criminal charges such as fraud, theft, etc, or a Surrogate who's spouse may have been convicted of such charges as spousal abuse, etc.  You have peace of mind and the surrogate gets that peace of mind she seeks by knowing you, too, have been checked. (4)Referrals to surrogacy professionals ~   We work with top legal professionals, medical professionals, and insurance professionals. These professionals can assist with contract drafting, establishing parentage, handling all medical needs/medical procedures, as well as reviewing insurance policy's and/or obtaining a new policy if necessary.(Many of the legal professionals we work with offer reduced rates to our couples which, most times, saves approx. $1000)

(5) Contract negotiations ~ Experience has shown that contract negotiations can sometimes times lead to tension between a couple and their surrogate. Even with the best of intentions, when a couple and their surrogate are going back and forth between lawyers trying to negotiate the terms, things can quickly turn cold.

We sit with each side, prior to attorney involvement, to discuss their expectations, needs, and work to come up with a pre-contract agreement. This ensures that everybody is on the same page before the attorneys begin the task of drafting the contracts. Not only is this an emotional benefit that preserves the brand new relationship between surrogate and IP's, it also saves the couple a great deal of money that can result when attorneys put alot of time going back and forth over negotiations. (Many attorneys offer a flat fee, but will begin to charge an hourly rate on top of this if things take longer than expected)

More couples want to work independently during their surrogacy journey.  These same couples need to be protected in this process. The decision to work independently should be respected and an agency should strive to find ways to assist couples in this position (not just couples who have elected to pay for full agency involvement.) Our goal is to ensure every couple/individual is given as much assistance/protection as possible in this process.The child your surrogate will carry is too precious to risk and we take great satisfaction in helping you find a quality surrogate, as well as minimizing the risks involved. We find that many couples don't feel the need for an agency once matched with their surrogate, however, an agency can be an enormous benefit to a couple while trying to find the right surrogate.
