The feelings of yearning for a child are almost indescribable; especially when you are pushed to the limit of believing you will never be able to have one. After having gone through several years of failed fertility treatments, I believed that there would be no more opportunities for my husband and I to create a baby. Some years later, my husband introduced the idea of surrogacy/egg donation. For many reasons, including the opportunity to have a biological child, we decided surrogacy/egg donation suited us best.
We did a lot of research on agencies and were lucky enough to find Jenny Soronen at BABY STEPS. She is by far one of the BEST people I have ever come to know. She worked tirelessly to find us the right match to suit our needs.
Jenny's love for what she does and the care and concern she has for her clients comes through over and over again. She is knowledgeable and able to handle business, but she is also a soft spot to fall on when you need kindness and support, because going through this process can be both joyous and difficult. She has always been there for my husband and I. Jenny is the perfect person for this business, although I hate to call it a business because she treats you like a friend.

The journey to parenthood via surrogacy and egg donation is not always an easy one. There are countless hurdles to take and new things to learn every day. It helps to have someone knowledgeable and compassionate by your side you can trust. We were fortunate to meet someone just like that, Jenny from BABY STEPS! With Jenny's help we were able to find our egg donor, a wonderful and intelligent young woman.
We are now awaiting the birth of our first child! Jenny's help extended way beyond her duties and her countless tips and pointers made all the difference in turning this journey into a real success story.
This has been the most enriching and rewarding experience of our lives and to top it all off we made a new friend in the process!
